            Objective

            Be the first player to travel 1,000 miles by playing distance cards while overcoming hazards played by your opponent.

            Card Types

            Distance Cards

            Play these on your turn to advance toward the 1,000-mile goal:

            • 25 Miles - Adds 25 miles to your distance
            • 50 Miles - Adds 50 miles to your distance
            • 75 Miles - Adds 75 miles to your distance
            • 100 Miles - Adds 100 miles to your distance
            • 200 Miles - Adds 200 miles to your distance (cannot be played under Speed Limit)

            Hazard Cards

            Play these on your opponent to stop their progress:

            • Accident - Stops opponent until they play Repairs
            • Out of Gas - Stops opponent until they play Gasoline
            • Flat Tire - Stops opponent until they play Spare Tire
            • Speed Limit - Limits opponent to playing only 25 and 50 mile cards
            • Stop - Stops opponent until they play Go

            Remedy Cards

            Play these to counter hazards played against you:

            • Repairs - Counters Accident
            • Gasoline - Counters Out of Gas
            • Spare Tire - Counters Flat Tire
            • End of Speed Limit - Counters Speed Limit
            • Go - Counters Stop

            Safety Cards

            Play these to protect against specific hazards for the rest of the game:

            • Driving Ace - Protects against Accident
            • Fuel Tank - Protects against Out of Gas
            • Puncture-Proof - Protects against Flat Tire
            • Right of Way - Protects against Stop and Speed Limit

            Game Play

            1. Each player starts with 6 cards.
            2. On your turn, you must either play a card or draw a card.
            3. Players begin the game with a 'Stop' hazard and must play a 'Go' card before playing any distance cards.
            4. You can only play distance cards if you are not affected by a hazard.
            5. You can only play one distance card per turn.
            6. When you play a Safety card, you get another turn.
            7. The first player to reach exactly 1,000 miles wins.

            Special Rules

            Coup Fourre: If your opponent plays a hazard against you and you have the matching Safety card in your hand, you can immediately play it (even if it's not your turn). This gives you an extra turn.

            200 Miles

            Adds 200 miles to your distance. Cannot be played under Speed Limit.

            Hazard Cards

            Accident

            Stops opponent's movement until they play Repairs.

            Out of Gas

            Stops opponent's movement until they play Gasoline.

            Flat Tire

            Stops opponent's movement until they play Spare Tire.

            Speed Limit

            Limits opponent to playing only 25 and 50 mile cards until they play End of Speed Limit.

            Stop

            Stops opponent's movement until they play Go.

            Remedy Cards

            Repairs

            Removes an Accident hazard, allowing you to move again.

            Gasoline

            Removes an Out of Gas hazard, allowing you to move again.

            Spare Tire

            Removes a Flat Tire hazard, allowing you to move again.

            End of Speed Limit

            Removes a Speed Limit, allowing you to play any distance card.

            Go

            Removes a Stop hazard, allowing you to move again.

            Safety Cards

            Driving Ace

            Protects against Accident hazards for the rest of the game.

            Fuel Tank

            Protects against Out of Gas hazards for the rest of the game.

            Puncture-Proof

            Protects against Flat Tire hazards for the rest of the game.

            Right of Way

            Protects against Stop and Speed Limit hazards for the rest of the game.
